"If you wish to escape this ridiculous biological paradox that is reality, one must choose between insanity or death."

"αιώνιο θάνατο"

"Nor is it to be thought...that man is either the oldest or the last of earth's masters, or that the common bulk of life and substance walks alone.

The Old Ones were, the Old Ones are, and the Old Ones shall be. Not in the spaces we know, but between them, they walk serene and primal, undimensioned and to us unseen.

Yog-Sothoth knows the gate. Yog-Sothoth is the gate. Yog-Sothoth is the key and guardian of the gate.

Past, present, future, all are one in Yog-Sothoth. He knows where the Old Ones broke through of old, and where They shall break through again.

He knows where They had trod earth's fields, and where They still tread them, and why no one can behold Them as They tread.

By Their smell can men sometimes know Them near, but of Their semblance can no man know, saving only in the features of those They have begotten on mankind; and of those are there many sorts, differing in likeness from man's truest eidolon to that shape without sight or substance which is Them.

They walk unseen and foul in lonely places where the Words have been spoken and the Rites howled through at their Seasons.

The wind gibbers with Their voices, and the earth mutters with Their consciousness.

They bend the forest and crush the city, yet may not forest or city behold the hand that smites.

Kadath in the cold waste hath known Them, and what man knows Kadath?

The ice desert of the South and the sunken isles of Ocean hold stones whereon Their seal is engraver, but who hath seen the deep frozen city or the sealed tower long garlanded with seaweed and barnacles?

Great Cthulhu is Their cousin, yet can he spy Them only dimly.

Iä! Shub-Niggurath!

As a foulness shall ye know Them.

Their hand is at your throats, yet ye see Them not; and Their habitation is even one with your guarded threshold.

Yog-Sothoth is the key to the gate, whereby the spheres meet.

Man rules now where They ruled once; They shall soon rule where man rules now.

After summer is winter, after winter summer.

They wait patient and potent, for here shall They reign again."

“Life hurts more than Death…”

Worshiping the entities described within the Necronomicon, Thanatos is a powerful Greek necromancer with an ice cold heart and with dark wishes and goals.

The wishes he holds within this said cold heart would frighten most if not all the living…if Thanatos is successful in the future he sees, everyone is already considered dead in his eyes.

“Ah, the dead…~”

Unlucky to those who encounter him, Thanatos has an insatiable love for the dead; thus his deep dwelling in the dark practice of necromancy. After obtaining the Necronomicon, Thanatos has become rather invincible — nearly, not ultimately. In order to continue his “immortality” he must take life to obtain life. To do this, Thanatos takes the life from mortals to add to his own lifespan; he can only imagine what he can do if he found an immortal (ex: vampire, demon, angel, etc) and added their lifespan to his, what would happen? Oh~, the wondrous possibilities are endless to say the least.

And thus, this had become just one of his goals. He knows well enough that such creatures exist in the world…

However, Thanatos has much more planned than just finding an unlucky immortal soul in hopes to forever expand his own life; but he ultimately plans to open the portals of his dearly beloved entities mentioned  within the famous Necronomicon.

Cthulhu, Kadath, Yog-Sothoth, and more…all to rein over the Earth once more as before.

What would become of the living? Thanatos hopes for them to belong to him for an eternity of experimentation beyond his dreams. It would be like receiving all the toys in the world to forever play with and to do as he pleases.

“How does it feel like, the apprehension of knowing your soul and body will one day belong to me…?

For now, his goal is to find Psithyrízontas Nekrotafeío (ψιθυρίζοντας νεκροταφείο), a simple cemetery...the location of the portal to unleash his entities, or so it says within the Al Azif. Unfortunately, he doesn’t know the exact location of this said cemetery…

Thanatos believes that once he unleashes the entities, he will be rewarded with great power and knowledge unimaginable.

About Thanatos

Thanatos's Appearance

Being a necromancer, Thanatos wears the classic dark clothing to represent “darkness”, just like the black magic he dwells in.

His attire consists of a heavy midnight black robe that zips down the front. Underneath said dusky robe, Thanatos wears a formal black button-up shirt with little lace, and black pants made of a soft material (not jean…ew). The necromancer walks around barefoot often, adoring the cold feel of the ground when walking under the moon at night. If not, then he wears black boots with lace adorned on the surface. On his shoulders of his robe, Thanatos had two skeletal hands with black lace and deep crimson ribbons tied upon the surfaces to show his love for

"Επιτρέψτε μου να σας πάρει μακριά από τον πόνο της ζωής, μπορώ να σας δείξει τι είναι η αληθινή ανακούφιση και διαφυγή είναι ... το μόνο που πρέπει να κάνετε είναι να παραδώσει τον εαυτό σας πάνω από ... ~"

During the course of time, Thanatos will be collecting “puppets”. These will be other OC’s (or none-OC’s) that will be added to this list.

Of course, in order to be a puppet one must be dead (or soon-to-be-dead), or undead…

During the process of being created into one of Thanatos’s puppets, he would kill you and then reanimate your character using the character’s previously owned soul, meaning they will have their previous thoughts and emotions as when they were alive – this way there is no required change (or much at least).

You are never forced into this; as long as I have the “Okay” I will never do this in Roleplay. And yes, you may request to become a puppet if you wish, Thanatos will only happily oblige. ~

When you have become one of Thanatos’s puppets (if you do, that is) then he will have absolute control over you, and you would forever belong to him unless he “releases” you. If you desperately want to come back to life, Thanatos is able to do that as well, so don’t feel like you must kill off your character if you don’t like being one of Thanatos’s puppets. I can easily take you back off the list and you can go on your happy merry way.

List

(So far, Thanatos has no puppets...yet.)

"Αυτό δεν είναι νεκρός οποία μπορεί να αιώνιο ψέμα, και με την παράξενη αιώνες, ακόμη και θάνατο μπορεί να πεθάνουν."

Due to his very dark background, Thanatos is quite cold-hearted, manipulative, vile and corrupt. Showing no mercy, this necromancer will stop at nothing to obtain his goals and wishes as well as create as many “puppets” for necromantic experimentation as possible to further his studies in the dark practice.

Loving the dead so much, he’d even embrace the dead more than the living — being a necrophiliac; having a sexual attraction to corpses.

“The icy touch of the pale skin upon her cheek…how lovely she looked lying there with no pulse. How can one resist such a sight? Adore this cold embrace; with this darkness shall you never perish under my control…allow me to add this black rose to your corpse, and forever be mine – you cannot resist."

Loving the dead so much, Thanatos has made himself cannibalistic; eating the flesh of those alive as well. Over the many years he’s been alive, Thanatos believes that the dead shouldn’t be eaten, and to him cut meats are considered “dead” in his eyes, since technically the animal had to die in order for meat to be sold in stores…so he would rather eat others that are still breathing. Getting acquainted with the taste fairly quickly, he had actually come to thoroughly enjoy the taste of fresh flesh; however he still eats his fruits and veggies as well, enjoying to eat the occasional handful of grapes with his human heart…

Which being cannibal is only one of the many reasons to collect bodies; yes Thanatos collects bodies. There are many reasons to this; one of the more prominent reason is necromantic experimentation so he may further his studies with the dark art. He fails here and there, as well as learn new things, it all simply depends on how things go…and hopefully the victim is lucky enough to actually die rather than Thanatos succeed in whatever he is doing during said rituals — these experiments are for things like adding life to his own lifespan (longevity), and more.

However he also collects people (still alive) for simple food, like cattle with the fate of eventually being eaten alive.

Then the last reason; to kill others to become his reanimated puppets to forever follow and worship him as their creator…once he opens the portal to the Old Ones, Thanatos will need those who see him as a leader.

the dead; such a beautiful addition to his wardrobe. These skeletal hands even look like they’re embracing Thanatos himself.

Almost resembling the dead itself, Thanatos has uncommonly pale skin with long white hair that reaches his waist; often pulled up in a loose ponytail tied at the nape of his neck with one long strand that loosely adorns the side of his frame.

With a darkness that surrounds them, his eyes are that of a golden colour that often reflect and illuminate in the night, and his lips have a hint of black and purple to them.

Due to his dwelling in the dark magic of necromancy, Thanatos’s body is almost flawless with no cuts, bruises or other impurities due to being able to heal himself with a simple chant. However, due to his abnormal diet, Thanatos also has terrible anemia while also having haemophilia; which means he bleeds almost nonstop if cut or scraped.

More than often, Thanatos may be seen walking with 2 or more reanimated corpses by his side acting as body guards and company for his own pleasure.

Thanatos's Personality

Necronomicon

"Ο άνθρωπος κυβερνά τώρα όπου αποκλείεται μία φορά? Θα πρέπει σύντομα να αποφανθεί όπου ο άνθρωπος κυβερνά τώρα.

Μετά το καλοκαίρι είναι το χειμώνα, μετά το χειμώνα καλοκαίρι.

Περιμένουν τον ασθενή και ισχυρά, γιατί εδώ θέλουσι βασιλεύσει και πάλι."

Written in the dark dialect of Duriac – an indecipherable language – is the famous Necronomicon, the ‘Al Azif’; Evil Book of the Dead (or undead if be).

Many have sought for this book, as many (fake) copies have been made by fans…however there is only one and true Necronomicon, which Thanatos is more than happy to have obtained…

With this book, Thanatos has learned many dark secrets of the evil black practice; using one of the many famous abilities mentioned within its pages more than should be used – longevity and slight immortality by stealing the life source of others to add to his own.

The Necronomicon is an evil book that is known for its dark leather and clasps along the spine and one prominent lock to keep wandering eyes reading within its pages and learning its secrets…

The leather is that of a dark sea-green colour, and Upon the surface of the cover is a squid-like image made from coral and bone that is supposed to represent Cthulhu, along with the Necromantic Star and Duriac writing that simply says "Necronomicon".

If anyone were to write more in the Necronomicon, it would disappoint all those who have shuddered at cryptic references to it...

Within the pages of the Necronomicon, are many chants, spells, and vast information about the Old Ones – deities – how to worship them, where they lie (most of them) and how to summon them if need be. However, summoning a deity would require much sacrifice and much power…

And thus…Thanatos is collecting live human bodies, so that one day he may make this ‘huge sacrifice’ to summon Cthulhu and others to once again roam the Earth where man rule (for now…) The day of the Summoning is the day of The Ultimate Sacrifice ever made.

Cthulhu is a gigantic entity worshipped by cultists; Thanatos being one of them. Ironically, the Necronomicon mentions Cthulhu and many other entities, which is what drew Thanatos to Necromancy in the first place; and to summon his God to rule over Earth as Cthulhu had once done before many years ago…

"Στο σπίτι του στο R'lyeh, οι νεκροί Cthulhu περιμένει όνειρα."

In the Necronomicon, says a prophecy that one day the Old Ones will one day roam Earth as before, and take over men where they currently rule; Cthulhu being one of those entities…

“And so it shall be…”

However, in order to even summon such a powerful God-like creature, there much be a large amount of blood sacrifice…as well as a powerful enough of a necromancer to be able to summon such a large 'Astéri to̱n Nekró̱n' (Αστέρι των Νεκρών).

This is another reason behind experimentation on humans he collects – to further his magic ability and strength as well as practicing in the dark art for his upcoming ritual…

There are many spells and chants within the Necronomicon; many of these chants are spoken in low or high-pitched tones while speaking the language of Duriac or Latin – rarely some other languages if required or able.

The most famous of Necromantic abilities – reanimating corpses to become a part of the living once again. This is done by using the previous soul or new demonic soul to enter into the body to become reanimated — however once this is done, the necromancer has complete and absolute control over the other unless he releases their soul to the underworld. While the “corpse” or “undead” is under this spell, Thanatos has the willpower to manipulate the physical body as he pleases.

In order for any Necromancy to take place in the first place, there must always be a blood sacrifice; whether that blood comes from the necromancer or a sacrifice. Most of the time the spell or ritual requires one or the other specifically. Simple spells would require the spellcaster’s, however more powerful spells would require chants and sacrifices.

Sacrifices within a Necromantic ritual acts as a payment of sorts; the higher the sacrifice the better the results. During some rituals, sacrifices are needed to be performed in order to be completed.

Abilities, Strengths & Weaknesses

Being a Necromancer, Thanatos has many dark abilities. The more popular amongst necromancers – reanimating the dead. Of course, Thanatos can do this with absolute ease, being the more easy of the abilities he has and it only requires a simple drop of his own blood; no major sacrifice needed.

Another of the more popular Thanatos uses, is “immortality”; or simply adding the life of others to his own lifespan so he may continue living — In order to do this, the one he is stealing life from must die, the ultimate sacrifice made to him. Even though he is more than vulnerable to getting injured due to his haemophilia, Thanatos also often uses an ability that heals him, which is a simple chant.

Other yet more rare spells, are the summoning rituals to actually summon creatures of the underworld by using chants, blood sacrifices as well as using the Necromantic Summoning Circle in order to do so. Since these require much energy, Thanatos barely uses these unless necessary.

Since Thanatos has severe haemophilia, if he were to simply get a small cut he would eventually bleed out over time unless treated; this irritates him with a passion, considering himself weak simply because of his condition.

Even though Thanatos has memorized almost all the spells, chants and rituals within the Necronomicon, he would be almost powerless unless he has it in his possession. The dark aura radiating from the book (naked to the human eye unless you are able to see auras) allows the holder of the evil book absolute power when being touched. Despite this, Thanatos is still able to use simple Necromantic spells and rituals without the book, but he’d never be able to summon the Old Ones without it, nor add more life to his own or make “puppets”.

On the night of the Necromancer’s Moon, Thanatos’s abilities are exceedingly increased at maximum, allowing him to be nearly invincible during this time. The Necromancer’s Moon is similar to the Red Moon, but happens rarely…unfortunately. Thanatos plans on trying to summon the Old Ones during this time.

"Thanatos" is Greek meaning "Death"

"My Puppets..."~

For anyone that wishes to role-play with Thanatos, I — the writer — am 22 years of age and I do smut role-play — at times, not always.

This is a fair warning, that when you follow or interact with Thanatos, there is a high probability of sexual or explicit content; such as: explained nudity, sexual interactions and/or phrases being said, seduction, etc.

I will not smut role-play with anyone under the age of 18; if I have found out that someone under age has decided to do so without my consent (not telling me true age when inquired and allows role-play to continue under these circumstances) I will immediately block, mute and unfollow that person as I will not tolerate it.

I also want to mention, of course I hope you’d already know, but there will be death, gore and sadistic scenes explained in Roleplay when interacting with Thanatos. If you do not want to see gore or be involved with death, please let me know before roleplay begins.

~

Even though the biography seems to say the opposite, there will be little smut involved with this Original Character — There will be flirtatious actions and of the like including the act of Thanatos luring others with sexual gestures and other actions, but that is because that is Thanatos’s personality. However, actual smut will be hard to come by unless you truly interest me and make it intriguing for both parties (me and whoever you may be). It’s not fun when only one person is putting forth all the effort.

So if you’re looking for smut and you ship your character with mine, then entertain me, just as I will do for you. Stories become great when both parties become highly involved. Not just for one person.

Even though I say there will be little smut, the temptation for me will always be there, because c'mon. Everyone likes yaoi. I'm just saying to please make it interesting for me as well or else I will immediately lose my muse with you and shamelessly drop the roleplay because you don't put effort into the story.

Also, it is very likely I will lose muse if you call yourself "only bottom" and the like. I'm terribly sorry to inform you, that is now how smut works, unfortunately. Be willing to 'switch'. You don't find a life partner and tell them "I'm bottom for the rest of our relationship, mkay?" Because that doesn't fucking happen. If you get butthurt, then I wouldn't have been interested in the first place with you.

Thank you.

If you put 'uke' in your bio, there is a high probability that I won't even ackowledge you in the first place. Saying this, that doesn't mean I'll completely ignore you. I check out accounts to see how so-and-so character interacts with others and how one writes (descriptive or not, etc). This is when and how I'll determine to acknowledge you.

~

I have also realized recently others taking even small details from other Original Characters. I will not permit this. Don’t even try to take a miniscule idea from my OC’s I have created, including this one.

Honestly, how much can you lack creativity to take the ideas from others? Just don’t do it. Get imaginative, seriously.

~

Writer emotions and character emotions are completely separate. I have someone in my life to call my own in my real life, what I do in roleplay is just for fun and to further my writing skills and to make more friends.

If you don’t like this Polyamorous idea, well I refrain from smut anyways, so. I don’t think there’s much you have to worry about in the first place.

I seek a story. Not sex.

I hope this makes sense to you. Thanatos is fairly complicated to explain.

This OC will be single-versed.

Pairings...

Below is a list of pairings for Thanatos; but do keep in mind he will be a “Polyamorous” character unless one day he finds that absolute perfect  creature to make his…but I will tell you right now that Thanatos is highly fastidious and wants perfection with his puppets which would include a ‘lover’ puppet if he were to ever find one. The reason behind this is because I, the writer, will be picky when choosing a partner for Thanatos due to the amount of effort and time I put into him, and I don’t want to lose my muse with this amazing character of mine because I decided to put him into a relationship too fast without thinking.

If you really want your character to get with mine and be his one and true lover, then you must really spark my interest and keep me entertained; it’s not that hard I promise…~

---

Now then, onto the pairing ideas; of course this doesn’t limit to simply these only pairings, as I’m sure there are many more creative ideas:

Thanatos+Puppet

Thanatos+Divine Being/Creature

Thanatos+Immortal

Thanatos+Undead

Thanatos+Priest

Thanatos+Cthulhu — (I’m sure people can get creative with this, don’t judge me)

Thanatos+Other Necromancer — (my least favorite pairing to be honest)

Thanatos+Lolita — (preference of a male Lolita); You know how in anime the badass usually has a cute little lolita with him? That's where I got this idea, but not one of my favorites either, just an idea.

Thanatos+Necromantic Deity/God of Death/Shinigami (Grim Reaper)

---

And I repeat myself when I say that for the time being, Thanatos is Polyamorous. If you don’t like this, then don’t become Thanatos’s puppet…but I will warn that I am naturally a big flirt and I like my characters to be seductive, so yeah…just don’t fall for it I suppose.

I would like to update this website just a tad bit…

If you even made it down this far without giving up to read the whole biography, that is.

I know, it’s long. Not as long as some of my other biographies, that’s for sure.

Anyways…

Thanatos is one of my very FIRST characters EVER created; making him {the account, obviously} around 5 years old.

This is a major character of mine that fits within a Storyline I have created with my fiancee.

Here is the link the Storyline:

http://ryuukou.wixsite.com/coleslaw

Please read if you wish to know a bit more about Thanatos, though not directly ABOUT Thanatos...just about the world he resides in; the universe formed.

There are well over 50+ characters within that plot. It is a highly detailed Storyline.

And with dark themes involved. It is a mature storyline.

Within the storyline, anything and everything exists: faeries, necromancers (or any other magic user), vampires, mer-folk, gargoyles, shifters, demons, angels, banshees, etc.

Thanatos holds a very special place in my heart as a character I have created long ago...and I will be adding to him as well at some point.

------------

Thanatos has found another necromancer that goes by the name Reece; he and Reece had fallen in love...but since then had fallen apart.

Reece is an undead necromancer, and a very special person to Thanatos.

Since then, Thanatos has placed a hold on summoning the Old Ones (for now), just so he can protect Reece. This necromancer is also a part of the war that is currently happening in the background of the universe he’s within.

Read more in the link above about the ongoing war.

Reece has opened an unfamiliar place within Thanatos’s heart, that he actually feels for other people to some extent…

He is mortal after all, meaning he still carries a mortal heart with mortal feelings and emotions.

However, ever since the separation between Reece and Thanatos, things have happened…

This is still very much a dark character, and an evil-neutral one at that.
