Dead Bodies have been reported to be coming back to life everywhere at an alarming rate.

Quarantine has been issued for all cities with the known virus nationwide, though knowledge of where the virus had first escaped is currently unknown.

It is advised to stay away from highly populated areas, keep to the countryside as much as possible.

The virus seems to affect more than the deceased; it has been rumored that even those simply affected with the virus and has been infected has been showing signs of contamination and must

be kept in a secure location away from others.

If you see anyone that you believe is contaminated, please contact the Emergency Response Operations immediately.

“The dead are rising everywhere. It’s unfortunate to say that loved ones are coming back from the dead...but don’t be mistaken, they are not the same people. These undead are mere puppets of who they used to be.

…. *silence*

...From what we’ve figured out so far, more than the dead are affected by this virus. For those of you in hiding, be cautious. I repeat, stay indoors and away from the major cities. A simple scratch may infect you. Who knows what you will become…

Supposedly, you’ll still have a clear human conscience if you merely get scratched or bitten while alive...but side effects range from strong desire to eat live human flesh to strong agitated emotions, and decomposing flesh. Death may eventually be a result but that is still unclear.

Protect yourselves; long-ranged weapons are preferred for your safety. Guns are your best bet. Knives are not recommended. But if you must and if you have no gun or ammo...aim for the brain. The virus, most of the time at least, affects the brain causing the nervous system in corpses to reanimate the brain to a very low subconscious level.

For those that get affected while alive, your brain will slowly become taken over by this strong hunger for human flesh; you will no longer be yourself after what doctors think over the course of six months. Your internal organs will shut down, and eventually your brain until you become like the rest of the lifeless absent-minded ‘zombies’.

That’s all we have for you tonight folks. Stay safe out there, don’t lose hope!”

Roleplay Note: Much more will be added to this page as roleplay(s) progress. The goal behind this "news" page is to give you, my fellow roleplay partners, hints and clues about everything you need to know.

For example, the location of the cure, how the virus affects you as a person, side effects for certain individuals - such as humans, vampires, incubi, etc. This virus will effect everyone differently not only depending on what you are, but by how you get infected (if you do).

You should pay attention to this page if you want to survive while interacting with my Zombie.~

Good luck.

Group Roleplay?

Since this universe is limited with “sole survivors”, I was debating on creating a group roleplay eventually as Zombie’s relationship grows with each individual — but I’m still unsure about it. It just makes more sense to me for other roleplayers to “get together” and try to survive together.

Who knows, perhaps it could become interesting?

If a group roleplay were to start, there could still be individual roleplays (since it would be difficult to roleplay with the entire group all the time due to time zones, etc), but have the group roleplay as well and each character would reply taking turns. A well formed turn list would be created and the group roleplay could use Twitlonger for longer replies.

If you’d like a group roleplay to start, please let me know. I’d very much love to hear your input on this idea.
